Broforce takes bro-isms to the extreme by letting players control a ton of action movie heroes. “Bro” this and “bro” that seems incredibly juvenile but, hey, many people apparently find it amusing. What is coolest about Night Driver at the moment is how it places you inside a car during the middle of the night with no other explanation. Some puzzles may also require tweaking since it seems some players have a lot of trouble with them. Night Shift is effectively a puzzle game in Early Access because the story needs to be filled out a bit more. It made me recall memories of playing Night Driver on Atari, as if that is something anyone would wish to emulate today. I do miss the wacky stuff that Poly 1 had.When Night Shift first launched onto Steam Early Access it immediately compelled me, although likely not for the reasons developer Brandon Brizzi intended. Best way to describe it is the Poly 2 solutions are more like bridges you find in the real world, but not so much in Poly 1. In Poly 1 I built some very weird and wacky solutions, but I don't seem to have done that in Poly 2. Play something at 100% speed and you get one result, increase the speed and you got another result as the swing motion seemed to have more momentum.īut that's not to say Poly 1 is not fun. Very hard to put into words exactly, but it was most noticeable with swinging motions. In Poly 1 I think momentum was affected by play speed. What I mean is that you could get different results depending on play speed. The biggest problem with answering that is the simulation itself.
